Actually, 3:01, they did. Just because they didn't listen to a certain group doesn't mean they didn't listen to "the people". There were plenty of people who wanted and subsequently got what they wanted in naming the schools. I personally did NOT want them named as they are, but I did hear SEVERAL people who were in favor of it. Also, at least to me, let's consider the impact of the alleged not listening to the public: cost of naming high schools=0, attorney fees for naming high schools=0, SACS accreditation risk re: naming high schools=0, etc, etc, etc
For one example, there's already an on-line survey that asks the public about desired qualities in a new superintendent.
I KNEW THERE WAS SOME KINDA B.S. REASON THAT STUPID, WORTHLESS "ON-LINE" SURVEY WAS PLACED ON THE BURKE COUNTY PUBLIC SCHOOLS SITE.

Beware also of Winston Begley (sp?), the new Human Resource Director. The SACS report indicated that BOE members had gone through personnel files (plural). That is NOT the indication he nor his assistant gave when meeting with the teachers. They tried to make us seem like we were "Karen-oid" aka paranoid for worrying about things being added to/lost from our personnel records. Turns out we had right to be suspicious!!!

OK - so Buddy & Sam appeal to the rest of the dimwits to discontinue the superintendent search, in light of the fact that "WE" the stakeholders have had no opportunity to share our thoughts (except for that bogus survey tiny tim & trashy created), & they are voted down 5-2. Imagine that! To make it even more of a joke, trashy shares that the board is going to meet on 9/17th to share with those who didn't attend the interviews the names of the 8 candidates. She, tiny tim, clueless, rifleman, & hairball know who the candidates are but won't tell Sam & Buddy. What a crock! These 5 fools are determined to cause this county to lose its accredidation status!!!
So the 5 idiots spent 25 hours interviewing in Charlotte. That means that the 2 thugs from Raleigh cost us $13,750 for that 25 hours. So when you subtract that from the whopping $21,000 Tracy got the school system from the lawsuit, the school system only netted $7,250. Gosh Trashy, you really are a winner, aren't you!!!

So David sent weekly e-mails to 'the board'. They had numerous retreats over the past year, multiple special called meetings in addition to the weekly meetings. At what point did they ask for further information? David responded to each and every request made during the public meetings and had all his information prepared and printed for the next meeting in their 'packet'.
We all know Trashy can use a computer to lies on a blog, but to hear them address anything in the IT department is like listening to a 4 year old read.. They have no clue about what happens in IT. "Judge Jones, can you inveestigate who hacked into the eamale sistem and find out who stole that e-mail?"
I know I have not received any replies to the e-mails I have sent Tiny or Trashy in the past two years, so I bet they don't even open them, just like they don't return phone calls.
Tracy, you are a disgrace to all women in positions of authority. Tim you are a disgrace to all men, fathers, husbands, grandparents and christians. In my opinion this whole mess can be traced back to DB having some resistance to requiring all 4th graders to visit (at the children’s expense) the trail of faith in Valdese. This is the pet project of a certain Senator JJ. The field trip required all 4th graders each year to pay the full admission price and visit the trail of faith. When DB question the educational value of the Trail of Faith trip it became a mission to oust DB. Does anyone really believe that Tim, Tracey, Karen and Hairfield are smart enough to instigate this madness alone. This would also explain resounding silence from our Senator. Also why would Aulgur who has no children or grandchildren in the system risk his business at Mountain Harbor Marina being boycotted and resign his post at the Republican party to join this bunch of losers. This trip has now been delegated to the 8th grade!! The schools have to cover the expense. It is a horrendous ordeal that the 8th graders of Burke County have endured now for two years in a row. It is insufferably hot and so jam packed that there is absooutely NO valuable education to be had by going on this fieldtrip.
Thank Goodness we will soon have a New Superintendent who may have an idea of how to run a school system,and not a country club!

Judge Jones lost the ear of the board after he advised against getting rid of David. The board just keeps him around because they are afraid of what he will say before they are gone.
