It also appears Schwartz was hired to Clayton GA schools, the first district to lose accreditation. He got their new Superintendent a $285,00 yearly salary, an addition $2000 per month for living expenses, and a body guard.
Plus, he was hired by Pamlico County Schools when Rick Sherrill was Superintendent.

Richard Schwartz is evil. I know this because I had to deal with him in another county in 1992. He is ruthless, has no heart, and will hurt anyone in his way. Look out Burke County.
Since Tracey reads the blog, I have a few questions.
Question 1. How can you make the choices you are making when you see the pleas of the parents and most importantly the students? You were elected to the board because you said you would put the students first.
Question 2. Has it been worth it? You've lost the respect of the people in Burke County, your not welcome here, and we would prefer to see you leave. In Nov. you know you will not get re-elected. You do know that don't you? You are one of the most hated people in the county and that will not change once you are off the school board. Was it worth it?
You can continue to buddy up with Rick Sherrill and Betty Terrel, but once your off the board, you will be nothing to them. You see, they are just using you. Are you so stupid that you can't see that? They will use anyone who can get them what they want.
Are you also so stupid that you can't see that Tim lined all this up. He made sure you would be the chair when all this happened so it would be you who would take the biggest hit.
I want to feel sorry for you but I can't. It's really sad to know that the only people you can depend on (for now) are the same people who will forget you in Nov.

Both of these posts are "oh, so very correct". I am also familiar with Schwartz. You can just look at him and see that he is ruthless! He would be the ideal choice of Tracy's because he is just like her--evil and rotten to the core!
The post about Tim Buff and Rick Sherrill using Tracy is also "right on the money". She's just too "dumb" to see it. I don't know how all these evil people got on the Board at the same time, but they are ruining Burke County. I talked to the parents of several high school students yesterday. All of them were looking at other options for their son or daughter for next year. This has torn up families, but does the FAB 5 and Rick Sherrill care?
I talked to one mother whose husband has lost his job, so they're a one-income family (and she earns only around $25K/year) but she is looking into a private school for her daughter who will be a senior next year, even though the family really cannot afford it. It's worrying her terribly, but she said that her daughter is an honor roll student and her daughter's future is too important to risk her not being accepted into a good college, should BCPS lose accreditation.
Although the daughter understands why her Mom isn't going to allow her to return to BCPS for her senior year, she is torn to pieces about leaving her friends and also upset about her parents having to spend money on a private school--money that they don't have and will have to borrow!
Thanks, FAB5 and Rick Sherrill. And people, this is just one family's tale. Think of the hundreds and hundreds of other families affected by these evil, ruthless school board!

BAYBORO - One Pamlico County schools employee is among six candidates the Board of Education is considering for its open superintendent position.The board met in closed session Monday night to cut the list of superintendent candidates from 25 to six. Chairman George Robinson said the board will not disclose the names of the candidates until one is chosen for the job."Certainly not," Robinson said. "I'll say we think we have a really good group. They all really seem like they would fit in with what we're trying to do here."Robinson said one of the candidates already works for the system. David Burleson can only sue for a year's worth of salary and maybe legal fee's.He will not get his job back soon.Although the riverside rednecks will bitch about money now,they may buy out the four years on the new super's contract and bring David back.I do want to compare the legal fee's for Billy Anderson's case,attempted removal of a board member to what is and will be spent now.I assume legal fee's comes out of the boards insurance policy. David knows the legal opinion of other state office's on his contract.He knows it looks bad for him.He may have to sue his friend Sam Aycock who fixed, and i mean attempted to fix David's contract. I have never written or called SACS CASI, or communicated in any way with SACS CASI.
I have a child who will be in high school for the next 3 years. Loss of accreditation would affect my child, too.
Regarding the old board: You're right, when the old board was up to its shenanigans, I had three teenage boys and one elementary age boy. I didn't pay enough attention to what the school board did. I was paying attention to my children.
You are obsessed with the "old board." I am sorry I wasn't able to pay more attention to what they did, but it wasn't possible for me at the time.

Regarding your previous post that I "put so much crap on Facebook," I was quoted in the News Herald about the fact that there was no way to remove the current board except for a possible statute, 14-230, and it is arguable whether that statute applies to school board members. I posted a letter from June Atkinson (NC Superintendent of Schools)the other day on facebook that also indicated there wasn't much we could do about removing school board members, other than 14-230. I opined on the contract on my blog, but I also wrote that any opinions I had were pure speculation.
I was under the impression the good ole boys were Blackwell and Jacumin and Mr. Abele - and they don't want to get involved. They appear to like the status quo. My dad would be tickled if someone thought he were a "good ole boy."
I wrote a blog comment about SACS CASI and Clayton County, maybe that is where you got the idea I had actually written a letter to them?
I don't want to know who wrote the letter to SACS CASI, but if they were to reveal who made the complaint, it wouldn't be me.

Who can verify Tracy insisting that graduates shake ALL school board members' hands? That's taking away a student's right to protest - another free-speech issue. If a principal is forcing kids to be kind to these vile devils, I want to know who the principal is and who gave the directive to that principal.
My feeling? Graduation is a rite of passage meant for the students and their families. The presence of certain board members will be a definite distraction - much worse than beach balls or Silly String. These board members will have to have police escorts to and from their cars. These arrogant fools will possibly be putting themselves, the students, and the audience at risk. The Foolish Four should stay at home! But they won't. Their egos won't allow it.

Tracy wants a letter sent to all the high school principals that says any graduate who does not shake her hand will not receive their dipolma.
Tracy was told that she couldn't do that because it is against the law.
Tracy should not be allowed to wear any type of gown to the graduations since she never actually graduated even high school.
She should have the wear her regular clothes which are a Pants Suit which is 3 sizes too small that leaves a print of her very used camel toe.
Last Sunday Tracy went in the back door at the church and went and sat down on the other side of Tracy. Charlotte Tim's wife got up and left.

Find me another business owner in this county that rewards their employees' children for their grades each semester and school year. I've never heard of one. If anything, we're all better educated as to what kind of idiots we're dealing with and what our options are to remove them, if any, and it's all thanks to Barking in Burke. I don't see anyone else in Trashy's district stepping up to the plate, putting their name out there and willing to take action when the November election comes around.

I would like to say THANK YOU to Catherine Thomas for all she has done and continues to do!! As for the status of the Superintendent that Mr Schwartz represented - The Clayton County Board of Education fired Superintendent John Thompson in a 7-0 vote Saturday, dated 3/15/09. Now that school is having to pay the remainder of the fired supers salary and Mr Schwartz has moved on to another school district with a crazy BOE- Burke County taxpayers - get ready to pay Mr Schwartz your child's college savings - oh wait, the super he represented for that county was unable to save their accredidation - as will be the case in Burke County - I am sure Mr Schwartz will represent Rick Sherrill in the best monetary way possible. Hold up - can he represent the BOE and then represent Rick - maybe a partner in his firm will have to take on that role. This situation is so out of control and would truly be laughable if it weren't my child's education they were stomping on!

bMBm.......yes, it'a true! Tim Newton (Newton Realty) rents to Trashy Tracy on Britain Dr. in Carbon City (little shak by the trak).
