As a former Burke county resident who now resides in Georgia, it is a shame the BOE is going down the same road as the Clayton County School System; where their BOE lost the school system their accreditation. The voters of Burke County must go to work late and show up on election day or get use to these types of actions from the Board.

Also, why is no one concerned that Rick Sherrill carried on an affair for years with Betty Terrell, starting when she worked "under" him at Liberty. Now he is brought back to save us from ourselves and no one seems to care that he has no morals at all. When he is made superintendent, Betty will resume her former position under him. Please explain how the children of the county will benefit.

I still do not know what this is about but I'll take a stab at it. Could it be that a cerain person with a politcal connection was overlooked to be the Head BB coach @ EBHS. Billy Anderson got the job instead. That set the wheels in motion for the political payback to the principal @ EB and the Central Office. Since Anderson had ties at the Central Office, the diseffected parties set about for revenge. When Anderson got in trouble at EBHS, that was the spark needed for the polictical witch hunt to begin. A deal was struck witht the sole purpose to remove, A Anderson, S Demiter and utlimately D Burleson in exchange for support for votes to the uneducated and embarasing current members of the board. What a shame.

While I absolutely despise Tracy Norman buff, here are some very interesting facts that are overlooked.
Tim Buff is the Puppet master of all this chaos. Honestly, do you really think Tracy Norman has the enough intelligence to do this? Tim has been orchestrating this whole thing for years. Why didn't he drive intelligent people to the court house and pay their registration fees? Because it was all part of the Puppet masters plan. Having people more intelligent than himself, which I am sure it took him the first 4 years to find three that are not, he could manipulate their minds and get what "he" thinks is best for BCPS. He shows up in a suit and tells a few hunting stories and what do you know, he has convinced half of Burke county that he is worthy of being on the school board. Then he manipulates the same people to elect Tracy 2 years later. After all, she is the queen of white trash.
He then spends 2 more years as the minority of the board and plays the sympathetic role to get the other three phonies voted in. All people he can manipulate. He now had mind control over the majority of the board and gets elected “Chairman”. He holds this position to fire the lawyer Sam, and then makes it so difficult to do anything that Randall retires. Granted, they were not the most popular people. Then before he makes the move to get rid of David, he steps down and convinces the 4 to elect Tracy whom he has been grooming (and screwing) for the past 3 years. Now he set her up to take the brunt of the blame when David gets the boot. Listen to the Audio of the meeting; he has to tell Tracy 4 or 5 times to “Call Order”. She is so dumb; she doesn’t even know how to run the meetings. How long do you think they practice what she needs to say at the B&S discount store?
At one point, Tim was a decent person. Now he is a shadow of the man he thinks he is. One only has to step back and look at the big picture. How can a man obtain that store, all of his rental properties, cars, trucks, a wife, a whore girlfriend and go on lavish hunting trips all by selling dented cans and out of date yogurt three days a week? How can Tracy pay for a new car working part time at this store? Maybe Daddy Tim bought it for her. Hmmn, I wonder what the IRS thinks he makes? Maybe someone should report him for tax fraud. And how many years ago did she abandon her family? I wonder if that is the same time she started ‘working’ for Tim. All of it sounds a little fishy to me.

In 2005 there were approximately 53,000 registered voters in Burke. ~8000 people voted in the 2007 election for school board members. Assuming the number of voters stayed constant from 2005 to 2007, that means about 15% of the county's voters actually voted. Not exactly a mandate. Our lesson? Apathy kills.

I was at the awards ceremony at Liberty Middle School Thursday morning and guess who didn't show up...Tim & Tracy. Wonder why? Are they finally getting scared?
While the two of them didn't show...Mr. Burleson did. He got a standing ovation twice and many of the students not only shook his hand, but gave him a hug as well.
We have all seen first hand that the horrible 5 don't care about our students, our teachers, our community or themselves including their own families. Tracy's son had to smoke pot to deal with her so I wonder what Tim is doing to deal with her. If the "5" hasn't listened to us yet they are not going to but we do have the final say or vote so to speak. We voted then in and we can vote them out. If Burleson is interested he may be able to run again and be voted back in next go round. But I firmly believe if we have never done it before we have now united in the cause of good and we will not go down without a fight. If that is what the 5 want that is what the 5 is going to get. We the people of Burke County may have made a huge mistake but it is something that can be fixed. besides why did we ever think that someone who couldn't even run a home could run our school system? Pitty us but lets finish what the 5 have started.
Just to let all parents know: we have the right to pull our children out of school when ever needed. Maybe instead of our children feeling like they need to hold a walk out protest maybe we as parents need to sign them out in protest. My daughter is on the honor roll and has never missed a day but to prove a point I would gladly have her pulled out. Think about it we still have rights Tracy can't touch. Lets help our children fight this battle after all it was us who chose them and only we can fix this.

I still do not know what this is about but I'll take a stab at it. Could it be that a cerain person with a politcal connection was overlooked to be the Head BB coach @ EBHS. Billy Anderson got the job instead. That set the wheels in motion for the political payback to the principal @ EB and the Central Office. Since Anderson had ties at the Central Office, the diseffected parties set about for revenge. When Anderson got in trouble at EBHS, that was the spark needed for the polictical witch hunt to begin. A deal was struck witht the sole purpose to remove, A Anderson, S Demiter and utlimately D Burleson in exchange for support for votes to the uneducated and embarasing current members of the board.

While I absolutely despise Tracy Norman buff, here are some very interesting facts that are overlooked.
Tim Buff is the Puppet master of all this chaos. Honestly, do you really think Tracy Norman has the enough intelligence to do this? Tim has been orchestrating this whole thing for years. Why didn't he drive intelligent people to the court house and pay their registration fees? Because it was all part of the Puppet masters plan. Having people more intelligent than himself, which I am sure it took him the first 4 years to find three that are not, he could manipulate their minds and get what "he" thinks is best for BCPS. He shows up in a suit and tells a few hunting stories and what do you know, he has convinced half of Burke county that he is worthy of being on the school board. Then he manipulates the same people to elect Tracy 2 years later. After all, she is the queen of white trash.
He then spends 2 more years as the minority of the board and plays the sympathetic role to get the other three phonies voted in. All people he can manipulate. He now had mind control over the majority of the board and gets elected “Chairman”. He holds this position to fire the lawyer Sam, and then makes it so difficult to do anything that Randall retires. Granted, they were not the most popular people. Then before he makes the move to get rid of David, he steps down and convinces the 4 to elect Tracy whom he has been grooming (and screwing) for the past 3 years. Now he set her up to take the brunt of the blame when David gets the boot. Listen to the Audio of the meeting; he has to tell Tracy 4 or 5 times to “Call Order”. She is so dumb; she doesn’t even know how to run the meetings. How long do you think they practice what she needs to say at the B&S discount store?
At one point, Tim was a decent person. Now he is a shadow of the man he thinks he is. One only has to step back and look at the big picture. How can a man obtain that store, all of his rental properties, cars, trucks, a wife, a whore girlfriend and go on lavish hunting trips all by selling dented cans and out of date yogurt three days a week? How can Tracy pay for a new car working part time at this store? Maybe Daddy Tim bought it for her. Hmmn, I wonder what the IRS thinks he makes? Maybe someone should report him for tax fraud. And how many years ago did she abandon her family? I wonder if that is the same time she started ‘working’ for Tim. All of it sounds a little fishy to me.
From what I hear, he has isolated himself from all of his friends and family. Anyone that questions Tim is no longer on his friend list. The rumor going around my son’s school is that Tim is no longer allowed to visit his grandchildren at school per his own daughter!!!! Sounds like a man we want playing Puppet Master with the entire future of all our kids doesn’t it?

In 2005 there were approximately 53,000 registered voters in Burke. ~8000 people voted in the 2007 election for school board members. Assuming the number of voters stayed constant from 2005 to 2007, that means about 15% of the county's voters actually voted. Not exactly a mandate.

I'm sure she wants to intimidate or threaten teachers with their jobs. What's wrong with teachers supporting their own boss? She is a piece of work. This was learned at a school meeting last night.

The governor's office have advised residents this is a local issue, she said, and there isn't much they can tell callers except its a local personnel issue.

If there had been anything unethical about the contract, that would be just cause for changing and /or terminating it. The morons are talking about a DATE....a date on the calendar, for God's sake. One who isn't qualified in the first place and the second 'underling' to actually do the job. And in most if not all instances of rehiring the new salaries are much higher than the 'deadweight's' salary. They also said they would look into helping the classifed folks with salary increases but that did not happen either. Even friends who campaigned for them have turned against them as they've found out that what their true agendas were.
So glad I got out of Burke County last year. Best move I ever made. Teachers, what in the world is keeping you in this crazy place? Do yourself a favor and get out. You have no idea how much better it is out here in the normal world.

I was at the awards ceremony at Liberty Middle School Thursday morning and guess who didn't show up...Tim & Tracy. Wonder why? Are they finally getting scared?
While the two of them didn't show...Mr. Burleson did. He got a standing ovation twice and many of the students not only shook his hand, but gave him a hug as well.
They were in Trace's vehicle Tim bought her.

We have all seen first hand that the horrible 5 don't care about our students, our teachers, our community or themselves including their own families. Tracy's son had to smoke pot to deal with her so I wonder what Tim is doing to deal with her. If the "5" hasn't listened to us yet they are not going to but we do have the final say or vote so to speak. We voted then in and we can vote them out. If Burleson is interested he may be able to run again and be voted back in next go round. But I firmly believe if we have never done it before we have now united in the cause of good and we will not go down without a fight. If that is what the 5 want that is what the 5 is going to get. We the people of Burke County may have made a huge mistake but it is something that can be fixed. besides why did we ever think that someone who couldn't even run a home could run our school system? Pitty us but lets finish what the 5 have started.
Just to let all parents know: we have the right to pull our children out of school when ever needed. Maybe instead of our children feeling like they need to hold a walk out protest maybe we as parents need to sign them out in protest. My daughter is on the honor roll and has never missed a day but to prove a point I would gladly have her pulled out. Think about it we still have rights Tracy can't touch. Lets help our children fight this battle after all it was us who chose them and only we can fix this.

What can WE do, constructively to oust the 5 phonies? Is there an "impeachment" process? Can they be forced to resign? Would there be any "interims" willing to fill the seats until the next election?
Well, once again, Tracy (and of course I mean TimTracy) has waved the magic wand and made the board's reviews of Burleson's performance as a superintendent disappear. Magic! Yep, he's willing to allow EVERYONE into his personnel files and suddenly...stuff is missing! Come on out there! Is there someone out there who reads this blog and knows how to go about the legal process needed to get rid of these criminals? I'll volunteer my time to the cause. Mr. Aycock, if you're out there, what can we do and why the hell was Jones looking for a way to oust Burleson? Karen Sain, what is YOUR beef with Burleson? Coersion, I expect, is what ocurred here.
