Very proud of all who attended and spoke. We all want David to stay, but we should not want him to work in an environment where his board chair and vice-chair want his head. He should not have to work for board members who berate him behind closed doors.
So if we want David to stay, the Five must go. They are already frightened of the people. Pressure them to resign. They can go their way (taking their next superintendent with them), and BCPS can go back to making progress.
Any decent man would have resigned before it come to this. He made his bed now he can lay in it. Maybe you should go with David. I firmly believe in making the world a better place. Maybe he'll take you with him.
Do a straw poll, bet he wouldn't touch 5039 now. He won because of apathy on the part of the majority. Hopefull people will remember what the cost of inactivity is.
I over heard Mrs. Norman bashing Pleasant Ridge for supporting David (one of their deacons). Tracey got kicked out of that church for spreading rumors about gay boys at the church. Funny how her mom, sister, exhusband, and 3 sons go to church there, and they are all respected by the church from what I hear. You have to see the irony here. Sounds like Pleasant Ridge has their stuff together. Too bad burkemont dont.
No need to be ugly about God in these posts. Some folks who have never experienced God's love are reading....would you want to be the one who puts a sour taste in their mouth about God?

I think the blogger (2 above) is just stating that Pleasant Ridge supports David to the highest and still respects Tracy's family that attends. And the other point being, why is Burkemont not taking a stand for Tim and Tracy??? It has nothign to do with bashing GOD. Its about trust and integrity.
The fab 5 may want Burlesons head all of Burke County now want the Fab 5's head. If they can have what they want why can't we. I thought the most important thing was for our children to have a better education but what is the fab 5 more concerned with dress code, weapons, etc. I want my daughter to learn not worry if what she is wearing is wrong. Please the fab 5 needs to go lets get them out. As far as Tracy is concerned she needs to be afraid. There are a lot of dark allys in Burke County and a lot of pissed of parents and employees. she may need to watch her back due to her mouth writing a check her body can't cash.
